1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Comment Exporter browser extension (“the Extension”) processes information.
The Extension has a single purpose: to allow users to export publicly visible comments from supported social media platforms, including TikTok, X (Twitter), and Instagram, directly from the currently viewed post or video page.
We are committed to protecting user privacy and ensuring transparency in how information is handled.

2. Information Processed by the Extension

The Extension processes only the information necessary to provide its functionality, including:

• Publicly visible comment content on the active post or video page
• Public usernames associated with those comments
• User-selected export preferences (e.g., file format)

The Extension does not access private messages, passwords, account credentials, or non-public data.
All comment extraction occurs only after the user interacts with the Extension.

3. Payment and License Verification

If the Extension includes paid features, license verification is handled via ExtensionPay.
For this purpose, the Extension may process and transmit limited authentication and technical information required to verify license status (such as an authorization token or license identifier).
No exported comment data is transmitted for payment verification purposes.

4. How Information Is Used

Information is used solely to:

• Extract publicly visible comments from the currently active post or video
• Generate downloadable export files (e.g., CSV, JSON, or similar formats)
• Store user preferences locally
• Verify license/payment status (if applicable)

The Extension does not use comment data for analytics, profiling, advertising, or marketing.

5. Data Storage

The Extension may store the following data locally using the browser’s storage API:

• User export preferences
• License verification status (if applicable)

Exported comment files are saved directly to the user’s device.
The Extension does not store extracted comment data on external servers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
Information may be shared only as necessary to provide functionality:

• With ExtensionPay, solely for payment/license verification (if paid features are enabled)

Public comment data extracted from supported platforms is not shared with third parties.

7. Remote Code

The Extension does not load or execute remote code within its extension pages. All core functionality is included in the packaged extension files.
Network communication, if used, is limited to license verification and required service communication.

8. Third-Party Platforms

TikTok, X (Twitter), and Instagram are independent third-party platforms.

This Extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to these platforms.
Each platform operates under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

9. User Control

Users may uninstall the Extension at any time to stop all data processing.
Because the Extension does not maintain user databases of exported content, there is no stored comment data to request access to, modify, or delete.
